First of all, thanks so much everyone for your really useful feedback on the test site. It’s fair to say it prompted a lot comment, and even some vigorous debate!
We really appreciate your getting involved in helping us make the new site as good as it can be. We’ve taken as much of your feedback on the test site into account as possible and we’re pleased to say that the site has now been relaunched to the public.

The new site is only a week old so it’s still early days, and we’d really like to hear from you again on how it’s working for you, and what you like or dislike in general.

I’ve just shown the new website to my brother, just to get an unbiased – and non web dev – view of it, and to quote; “too much … crap, too busy, nothing draws you in”. And seriously, lose the underline of your links … that’s just wrong, it makes sense when a link is embedded in a paragraph to style it, add an underline, to make it clear it is a link … but when you’ve got lists of nothing but links .. it just adds to the sense of business and crowded nature of the site.
Thought it was great when I accessed it last week – found what I wanted quickly and easily. (wish I could remember what I was looking for – but I was impressed enough to comment to you).
But this week – I found it impossible to get the info I need (I ended up giving up and searching elsewhere). Sorry!
I’ll keep trying though – it looks loads better than it used to – which convinced me enough to keep trying to find the info, even if I gave up eventually.
